a change of scenery in 2013

hello friends, sorry i havent posted in such a long time

last year was such an amazingly busy year. it was almost a blur it went by so quickly. i went full-time on my first feature film with illumination, moved in with my girlfriend, met tons of new people and inspiring artists, adopted two kittens, exhibited in galleries and at the CTN for the first time, and (somehow :P) survived the 'end of the world'.

i was faced with so many new challenges which inevitably lead to changes in my life. which is something that i usually fear, tho in the end i know that change leads to growth.

i'm excited to say that for the month of January i will be joining the Sony crew as a storyboard artist on "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2: Revenge of the Leftovers". the release of the film was pushed forward to this coming September, and i was fortunate enough to be called upon to help out

it will be directed by Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn. we've crossed paths in the past, usually at a convention where i forced my story portfolio in front of them begging for honest critiques which they were more than happy to give. and now i'm fortunate enough to say that work with them and talented crew bringing this film to life

after Cloudy wraps in February, i am again excited to say that i will be joining Dreamworks Animation as a storyboard artist. i'm not sure which show i'll be placed on, but i'm just thrilled and extremely extreeeemly humbled to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of artists.

and to llumination!!! you've all been so awesome to me, thanks so much for the opportunity and all the support! i cant say enough how amazing its been working with you!

heres to a year full of new challenges and new growth :)
